A Brief History…

Just thought I’d share a brief history of my running.  I say I’m not an athlete and here’s why… I started running at the end of July, 2012.  I couldn’t manage 30s of slow… I’m sorry!  I mean steady running (runners don’t seem to refer to slow running as slow but as steady) with a…

Dear Peak District… – Parting Words Before Parting

Dear Peak District… Let me start be saying thank you.  Without you I would not be who I am.  Without you I wouldn’t have found what I needed to dig myself out the hole I was in.  Without you I wouldn’t be on the path I am now and it’s because of this that I…

Thanks… #RunEuropeNorthToSouth

I’ve spent ages thinking of what I can type, which words I can string together to try and express the level of gratitude that I genuinely feel, and each time I have the words just don’t seem adequate enough.  In truth, I have no real way to say thanks; other than continuing along this path,…

Feb 15th – Done..

Done.  Well, almost for my taste.  The furthest point south requires permission and Im waiting to get the go ahead.   The run in was perfect.  A big of rain, serious wind and a good climb to start.  No food, no water.  No need when I ate the day before. I get to the hostel,…
